- Take the A470 north out of Cardiff or join the A470 at J32 of the M4
- Exit the A470 at the exit marked Caerphilly (A468) and head up past the GE Engines plant on the dual carriageway. Beware – speed cameras
- At the roundabout take the second exit (look for signs to Ystrad Mynach,) and head downhill to the next roundabout where you go straight over. Keep heading downhill to another roundabout
- As you approach the roundabout keep in either of the two left hand lanes and take the second exit onto a dual carriage (A469 to Ystrad Mynach).
- At the next roundabout take the second exit onto a dual carriageway still heading towards Ystrad Mynach (A469)
- Cross over 2 roundabouts. Do not take the exit marked Ystrad Mynach hospital. You need the next one.
- Turn left at the roundabout following the signs to Ystrad Mynach and Nelson (A472)
- There will be a small roundabout about 100m in front of you, take the second exit and then the first exit at the next roundabout, which will be immediately in front of you. Head uphill on the A472.
- At the roundabout at the top of the hill take the third exit and after 50 yards immediately turn left down into the Tredomen site. The Innovation Centre is the building on the right as you enter the site.
